The most unprofessional store owner I have ever encountered. I drive by almost everyday but the flowers and garden stuff drew me in today. Was actually looking for home made jalapeño jelly. Found some !! She told me she was unpacking cute frogs if I was interested. Said no, not collecting anymore but doing a deep clean house cleanse. You know, Maria Kondo style. I asked is this where I check out? She said you’ve never been here? Asked where I lived and answered Hiawatha! She said that’s a slap in the face. I set the jar down on the counter and said I don’t need your jelly today. She said I wasn’t going to sell it to you and you can leave. She hollered “don’t let the door hit you on the way out”. I said, I had the best intentions on stopping today.” She repeated her don’t let the door hit you.” As I was getting in my car, she hollered out the front door and across the parking lot-“ bye-bye. How rude and unprofessional. I will never step foot in her shop again.

Today I had a chicken salad sandwich and mushroom soup. Both were delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed and quiet which made it perfect for conversation.

Went in to see Jennifer Goodlove at the Farmer's Daughter today. I am obsessed with smile face stuff and she had a sweater that I could not walk out without purchasing it was so cute. There is always so much stuff to look at and goodies to eat here. It's a must stop in and see. As we get closer to spring it will be a must stop for plants and produce.

Jennifer was incredibly friendly and served up the best chicken salad sandwich that my girlfriend and I have ever had!! Thank you for telling us about Gordy... We ended up getting 15 dozen ears of Iowa corn from him to take home with us!

So many gorgeous flower combos , garden decor and so much more. 40$ for a huge basket, well worth it! Price depends on co trainer and variety. Picked up some excellent asparagus and rhubarb as well.
